Akron Zoo Summit County Appreciation Days for Northfield Center Township to be held September 12th through the 25th

During Summit County Appreciation Days, Northfield Center residents will enjoy free admission to the Zoo from 1 pm to close daily, beginning September 12th and running through September 25th.  Tickets will be available online, at https://www.akronzoo.org/2020-visitor-guidelines, beginning on August 29th.  Tickets WILL NOT be distributed by Township staff.  Residents must log-in or create an account on our website in order to receive tickets for free. They also must select the date and time slot they want to arrive and should read all visitor guidelines before reserving their free tickets (visitor guidelines as of June 2020 are included below). Their reserved tickets will be emailed to them and will only be valid for the date and time they have selected and cannot be exchanged. The Zoo has extended the dates of the Summit County Appreciation Days this year to ensure that all community members, Akron Zoo members, and general admission guests have a chance to reserve their tickets, as there are only 200 tickets available every half hour.  The amount of tickets available is subject to change based on any new orders from Summit County or State of Ohio health agencies.
